About

Mayor Keith McDonald has served the City of Bartlett for over 20 years. After serving two terms as an alderman and liaison to the Parks Board, he was elected as Mayor in 2002. Outside of government, he has served the City as a Nationwide Insurance Agency owner and former President of the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce.

As a believer, father and entrepreneur — Mayor McDonald has devoted his career to advancing Bartlett’s faith, family and business communities. His vision for the future welcomes people of all backgrounds to take advantage of the many opportunities that Bartlett offers for success. He works with national, state and local organizations to improve the quality of life for residents.

Named 2012 Mayor of the Year by the Tennessee Municipal League, Mayor McDonald’s motto is “Meet the needs and exceed the expectations.” To that end, he has worked with the Board of Alderman to pass policies that have expanded Bartlett’s tax base.

Mayor McDonald also teaches Sunday school at Bartlett Woods Church of Christ. His wife, Patty, is a retired school teacher. They share two sons and four grandchildren.
